These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.gift-hut.co.uk. (the ''Website''). By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
You are required to pay in advance via our online checkout process. You will receive an order acknowledgement by email, detailing the products you have ordered. With some products you might request a proof before printing. The gift will be created once the design have been approved by you.
We reserve a right to refuse any order.
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. The price, availability and specification of the goods may be subject to change without notice.
If paid by an e-cheque, the item will be post once the e-cheque has cleared. This can take between 5-7 working days.
Delivery & Postage
Standard UK delivery is £2.95 and there's free delivery on gifts over £30. International delivery is also available, please contact us for a quote.
Our products (except canvas prints) are dispatched via 2nd class post (Royal Mail) Royal Mail state that they “aim” to deliver 2nd class post within 3 working days, but it can often take longer than expected. Delivery will be made as soon as possible and usually within 10 days of receipt of your order. Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. We only process and dispatch orders during these timescales. All delivery and dispatch timescales quoted on the website do not include weekends or bank holidays.
Canvas prints are dispatched via My Hermes. The delivery usually takes 2 working dates but can take up to 7 working days.
Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.
We will deliver the Products ordered by you to the address which you give for delivery when you make your order. If any of the details you have given us in your delivery address are incorrect, we are not liable for any items which have not been received.
If you have not received your items, you must check with your local sorting office even if you have not received notification from your postman that they are holding items for you.
In the event that we reproduce an item for you and subsequently the original is returned as undelivered by Royal Mail, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee up to 100% of the reproduced product.
We reserve the right to wait up to 10 working days from the date of despatch before taking further action regarding an undelivered item.
Please note: we will not be held liable for any late deliveries if delays occur by causes beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation:-
Non personalised items:
If you would like to return an item, simply email us at email@example.com your reason for returning the item, and whether you would like a replacement or refund.
If you return a non personalised item because of an error on our part, or because it is defective, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us. The item(s) must be returned in the condition in which you received it within 14 days of delivery.
Please note that non personalised item(s) returned to us for reasons not due to our error or defective product(s) will not have return postage/shipping costs refunded. We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit, as you are responsible to return the items to us. It is recommended to use the Recorded/Special delivery.
We cannot accept returns on personalised items, as these cannot be sold to anyone else. Therefore it is very important that all spelling is correct.
We will not refund/replace any personalised items unless damaged in trasit or are not as described.
For items returned to us within 14 days of delivery and in accordance with these terms and conditions, a refund will be sent within 7 working days of receipt of the returned items.
A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase.
If you would like a replacement, this will be to your original product specification as detailed on your original order.
Any images required for your personalised gift will need to be email to us. After you made payment you will receive an email from Gift Hut confirming your order. Please reply to this email with your photo attached. You agree not to send any images that will cause distress or offence to any person. It is your responsibility to ensure that express permission for any images you use has been granted by the owner of any image. Gift Hut (Olga Turner) reserve the right to refuse to process any order that may cause offence or distress to others – in such a case we will refund any payment made. Olga Turner will not be responsible for any copyright infringement by the customer.
The colour of the product you receive may not match the colour as displayed by our website on your computer monitor. Please be aware that if colour is important to you, your order is placed at your own risk.
